Opinions on Portugal 2

Hello and welcome back to The Golden Lion, today I bring you guys the second edition of Opinions on Portugal!
Like the other time I made the same question to all of them "Whats your opinion on Portugal?".
Some answers were good, other's bad but who cares  :D

First we have  â˜… Cobrocra !

CO: I generally respect a lot Portugal, it is one of those nations that is usually part of the military events of e-sim, and not only in this server. But it has a big problem on suna, the same that Italy has only here: the country is splitted and has reached the point where it's almost impossible to expand the empire without assuming big risks and, at the same time, the nation can't put a huge influence on the server's balance as the old Portugal, the one that conquered the whole middle and South of America, did in the past.
I don't know how Portugal ended in this situation but I hope that all the friendly and good guys I know from Portugal will be able to fix it, all that i see now it's wasted potential.

Next we have  XaNkro

XN: Portugal is in a phase of renewal of ideas, people standing in front of the country is relatively new to the game and accepts constructive criticism, unlike the old govs where only more experienced players were there. One of the things I see that PT continues to do, is to make deals without even fighting. For the coffers of Org, this kind of deals are at first sight good, but what has been overlooked is that the economy is based on wars and battles. And even when at war and with one more or one less High the economy moves and the general population moves, which generates more activity and more taxes. When it comes to military support, I have noticed a great desire to help allies in the Coalition, which is a sign that attitudes are indeed changing for the better.

Now we need a cat, so here is  â˜… Justokas5

JK: Uhh...Portugal...I have many friends there. That's why I can call it friendly country. Also, I was in some alliances with them and it was brilliant experience to work with them. Portugal has good military, economy and many active players, what makes them even stronger ;3

And next is  â˜… Fritscher

FR: Hello, well Portugal has always been a great power here in Suna since the reset happened ... always dominated much of Central America thus maintaining a stable economy. I consider it a great country and I have many friends there.

To end the article we have the newspaper god  â˜… monarkus

MK: Portugal isn't big. Some might tell you that they are big, huge but the true is, they are not. They have potential sure, but won't pass from that. You'll hear stories about how Portugal once controlled Central America, and I'll tell you, beating dead countries isn't fun and doesn't make you big. And yes, it were dead countries, long before political takeovers were a tendency in suna. But why isn't Portugal big? The answer is on the genes. Portugal always have been a bipolar country. Long ago, when portuguese started discovering the world, most would say it would be an inglourious trip, and many would die. People called them "Restelo Stubborns" because they would go to Restelo, where ships set sail just to complain. Yes many died, but they discovered a brand new world and in the end they all rejoiced with the success. Until the next trip, where they would complain again. This is a bit of what is going on with Portugal on Suna. Players complain against each others for various reasons. Ones because they are cocky and don't acknowledge the others strength and potential, and the other ones because the first ones were cocky. And of course there are the ones who are only here for the economical feature of the game who later complain with the first two group because they couldn't defend the country, but don't spend not even a piece supplies protecting the region where their companies are allocated. Once again they haven't learned a bit from the past history of this country. In the end, they will end up and fight together if the country is attacked, and even at the victory celebration, portuguese will argue for who had the most relevance in the battle, will argue because of past events and spent the next few days, weeks or months against each others. At least, until Portugal wins another battle, where this vicious circle will repeat itself. They fight side by side, but can't stand each other, and eventually Portugal suffers, where they will again join forces and overkill rounds because they will not coordinate damage propery because they don't talk with each others. Until the victory, where they will talk and rejoice until someone acts cocky, and communications are cut again. This is why Portugal isn't big. It has potential, but I don't see it happen in the near future. Most won't agree with me, most will try and convince you that Portugal is great. Well let me tell you, those guys still love in the past. Those are the "cocky" ones, who end up being involved in almost every dispute/fight between portuguese. And this turns out to become quite funny, since these guys aren't in Portugal.

They are PTOing another country and demand Portugal's damage in their battles, but later, refuse to fight on Portuguese fights and sometimes even fight agaisnt... I'm gonna be honest, I'm against those guys. I've worked with them before, I know how they work. Half of what they say is a lie. I'm not talking about the double-game of politics, nah it's all their actions. That's why they also can't stand me. I ended up ignoring them. I just laugh now and then. End up feeling pitty for my home country, my Portugal, that no longer exists... not because the lack of effort...  â˜… SniperAssasino ,  â˜… Militao and  HunterZ_PT they try their best, but when the people isn't interested it's not worth it. That is why I left my country. Me,  â˜… Kawaii Pikachu ,  â˜… Emotion ,  â˜… OverPowered... but in the end, if my home country has a fight, I'm there to pull up a fight, to defend Portuguese pride. But are the other guys that end up with the glory, after they overkill the last round when the war is more than finished... They blame me and some other players for the decay of Portugal Empire in Suna. They are probably right. It is not easy to put up a fight with recently PTOed countries when most of the fighters are taken away because one military unit is becoming inactive, and later refuse to fight for Portugal for not being benefic for them. This is why I hold a grudge against mercenary military units. It's not because of you or your members, it's because of past actions. Hell. It's because of current actions. I ended up drifting a bit. But this is the story of Portugal. We've always been like this. Our country was founded after a women being beaten by her son who, due to that action, was crowned king. Yeah we've never got along well. But now it's just becoming worst. I can't stand greed over patriotism. Like someone said, Capitalism is the decay of Human Society. People got greedier. And "Patriot Fighting" doesn't bring any money. Unless you are smart. But unfortunately Portugal isn't smart. There are exceptions. But not enough. Me? I'm lazy. That makes me "dumb". If I could use my intelligence to turn Portugal into a better country? I could try. But I'm lazy. That makes me part of the problem. But for now... For now I just watch. And I'll keep watching and observing. I'm curious to see how low Portugal needs to fall so people get a grip, throw their differences apart and work to make this country big. Because we aren't big. We just have potential. Just that.

With this all I have to say is, #WeWantTheChronicles
