Interview to The Ghost Tanker
Hello and welcome back to The Golden Lion, today we have a person that is loved by many but hated by many more ( because he ban them :v ), its The Ghost Tanker . Thank for being here today!
GT: Thank you for having me.
1- Why did you choose the nick "The Ghost Tanker"?
GT: It was Kinioko's fault ( Night Crawler ), that changed nick and was feeling lonely, and because my avatar is a ghost and I love tanking, I told him that name, then he sent me the gold and said: "CHANGE IT!"
2- You are one of the most experienced and oldest players of Suna, tell us a bit about what this server already was and what it is now a days.
GT: When this server was only Africa it was a lot different from what it is today, I can start with the part that at that time there were much fewer regions, what made even more difficult to expand. There weren't Q6 quality equipment's, Shoes, Pants nor Lucky charme's, so players dealt much less damage and thats differences from one Set to another one. In relation to politics, at the moment I'm not involved in it, but before, CP's were pure strategists and they would spend all their possesses to maintain their country always rising, there was a mutual aid spirit that you can't see much these days. Now it's more a each-one-follows-he's-own-path style of game, and because of that many big empires have collapsed easily. But the server has it's own highs and lows moments, when there are big wars, there is activity in those countries, when the country is standing still it starts to fall due to the necessity of it, in my point of view the server is now more active that what it was 2 months ago, there's more wars, there's also more hunger for regions and revenge, and that's good.
3- Was the decision to be a GO easy?
GT: It's never easy to abandon the political role of the game, at that time I was CP and I had to choose, the only thing that made it easier was the fact of having a vCP I trusted and knew that when I give him the place he would do a excellent job, as soon as I received the invite I took 2 days to answer because there are many pros and cons, pros for those who have the willing of having fair and honest game, and as my father always said, if you want something done correctly, do it by yourself. The biggest con was abandoning politics , thing that in this game is very interesting and makes you cling to the game and to your country to show that you can be better then the others.
4- Talk about your political career, both in Mozambique, Portugal and Nicaragua.
GT: My political career started in Moz, we were 13 or 14 persons, half were babies, but we were very united, and it was there I met a lot of people and even some persons that are now from the MU I'm leader, when I entered for CP, Moz was a wiped country with a lot of eager to be free but with little chance because we were wiped by the 4th strongest country of the game at that time, but with the help from Moz player plus the people from BlackBird, and insisting daily on RW's against the enemy, he was forced to set us free, and became our allied. After this happened BB and Moz stayed like brothers and got 2 strong allies, Mali (2nd strongest country of the server at that time) and Madagascar (our enemies that became our allies), together we made the biggest empire of the game fall, South Africa. Short time after that the reset was announced and we all stopped fighting, I abandoned the CP position due to the death of the server, so it was better to get my equips ready for the new start. When the merge occurred, me and a lot of other Mozambicans joined together in BlackBird2 that was made by our leader Wipsy with the aim of being able to defend 2 regions having always the MU bonus, I became leader of BlackBird2 and several companions that were in Moz, joined me and we started recruiting more people and because we were all Portuguese, it was there were we focused, bringing Portuguese's to BlackBird2 and both BlackBirds went to Nicaragua. Over time Nicaragua started growing but the main BB started losing strength whit the inactivity of some important fighters. So me and happybunny (even though she wasn't the leader at that time) it still was Wipsy but he was becoming inactive, we decided to merge both MU's in order to unite our strength because it wasn't worth to have 2 MU's where the small one was able do to more damage, so the fusion between them occurred, and because we were all already experienced players it wasn't hard to conquer most of America, in fact there wasn't many countries with enough players to face us, and we keep growing until we reached Top 2 in regions and Top 6 in Global Damage with only 36 citizens. As we did a lot of friends over time, no one was able to attack us so that we could lose one battle, we even had 13 battles open day after day and we didn't lost one.

But the same problem started again, the lack of competition provokes inactivity, so many players started to become inactive, so we needed to get another project, and since the begging the Portuguese players that were on BB defended tooth and nail Portugal, we decided to go to our fatherland, at that time the CP had received a fine for slavery, together we gathered what we could to pay the fine and we made it, but after that he didn’t want to continue as CP and had started a big war against Spain. I assumed the position of CP in Portugal, we made Spain fall, but she had gained a lot of allies which made our damage capable of holding them but without the capability of conquering them, so it was a ping-pong war, this is, no one wins and no one loses, but everyday, hundreds of gold was wasted for the war. Near the end of my month as CP, both Portuguese and Spanish players were receptive to do a NAP in order to end the war, since we couldn’t maintain their regions alone, and they even with allies couldn’t do it also. I left the CP position when I received the invite to join the Staff and Night Crawler my vCP at the time, he took my position, and made negotiations with the Spanish. Portugal's Org didn’t lost or gained gold during the war, because the profit from the taxes was to give supps to the Portuguese player that could fight but weren't able to pay.
5- What made BB and you leave Portugal?
GT: Basically, BlackBird wasn’t needed because there were no enemies, and there were some that criticized BB because we bragged to much, but the reality was on the statistics , and we never said that without the other player we would be able to reach our objective, but definitely the other players wouldn’t have a chance of doing it, because there monthly damage was ¼ of BB's damage and because there weren't any more objectives, and no one of us was in politics, we became Mercs, to get some gold and adopt a new supply system, but the only way to give full supps, was in merc jobs, now a days we are a bit of a State MU (because we have ★ Deadfun as CP) and a bit Merc, because supps aren't paid by themselfs.
6- There is a certain divergence between the Portuguese players from Angola and Moz, can you explain why?
GT: For what I've understood, everything started when ★ OverPowered applied to be CP, I don’t have nothing against him, but I didn’t thought he had the profile to be one, because he was very impulsive and wasn’t very active, because a good CP needs to be active during day and night, not only at night or at day and a lot of people knew my opinion and had the same, and they made a CW. Which was won by much effort from BB fighters that were on ★ OverPowered 's side, for example, PsyKhopat which made 40kk damage, but this is details, we that are in Moz did our job, we didn’t agreed and went to the CW, even though it was badly coordinated and most of us got caught in debuff. We lost, left the country and returned to where we were that was Moz e seems like we weren't wrong, because after the CW, ★ OverPowered asked for impeach, I didn’t understand why, because he won the CW but of course that if there isn’t a Gov of mutual support, Portugal couldn’t do nothing and after that there was people choosing sides and criticizing those who always did everything to help Portugal. Which made people from Moz to cut relations with Portugal, but as we are Portuguese, as soon as ★ OverPowered was impeach, we started having relations with Portugal again, even though some are still “outraged”, maybe a strong word, but for me it’s the one that fits better.

7- What do you think of Portugal’s current situation?
GT: Portugal needs an upgrade that will be made very soon, if there is a chance for those who are coming there, a lot of things can change, and Portugal can become stronger than ever, at the moment Portugal is a rough diamond, and needs to be faceted to enter the “market”, the needing of some experienced players caused Portugal to become a bit abandoned, but it can change, depending on everyone’s willing.

8- BB is returning to Portugal, can you explain why?
GT: As I’ve mentioned on the previous question, Portugal is a rough diamond, and BB knows that and also knows that is able to make the country grow and improve the conditions of all its citizens, we have a lot of experience to help newbies and we know how to do it, we are in contact with the right people for that, and if we have that chance we will make Portugal how it should be, an Empire, with experienced people to teach and try help the maximum possible the expansion and growth of the country.
9- What do you think about Portugal’s current government?
GT: Starting with the fact of having people in the government without Portuguese citizenship is wrong, everyone in the Gov should have Portuguese citizenship, the only for me that doesn’t need it it’s the advisor. Second aspect, both you ★ Militao and HunterZ_PT and ★ SniperAssasino are inexperienced, but have good factors, which is the activity and the willing of making of making Portugal grow, but in my opinion, you are a bit far away from being able to do something because many people doesn’t see you as the leaders of the country, about ThePope, I already know him for quite some time and I know he’s capable of doing a good job if he has a good support. About ★ Kawaii Pikachu (my crybaby pet) I’m always arguing with him, but if he enters in the right vibe, he can be an excellent member for a government.
10- Don't you think you're being a bit unfair? The 3 CP's had good mandates and worked a lot to raise Portugal.
GT: It’s not the fact of being unfair, I don’t take the credit about the work that has been done, principally from someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience to do better, the work that has been done was good for what was within your reach, but if BB’s return and some of his friends is successful, there is a lot of things that need to change, Portugal was already one of the biggest empires in Suna and BB’s return implies those changes, that doesn’t me the current government can’t stay, but with new positions so that they can gain experience, because the future is on the newbies, but without help from experienced people, there isn’t great chance of making the country growing. Can’t criticize the work done, but I can say if you had the indicated support you would have done much better.

11- Many consider this return as almost a PTO from BB to Portugal, want to comment this affirmation?
GT: Well, it’s wrong to call it PTO, but of course it has to have an increase on the government, we do not intend to do PTO, but we intend to help the country grow which imply that the Gov members work, or they will be kicked from the Gov, because it is need to be active and work, but I hope for a cooperation like when it was done when we went to Portugal in the first time, Gov became bigger, but it also creates more activity. I’m not present in any government personally, but I’ll support will military power and I hope that there will be a good cooperation, so that it isn’t a PTO but the fusion between 2 Gov’s, a fusion of 2 countries and with this make Portugal one of the most dangerous countries of Suna again.

12- Don’t you think BB is departing the chance of a fusion by saying they will kick people from the government?
GT: No one will be kicked off at the beginning, but if someone doesn’t work is it part of BB or from the part of the current Gov, doesn’t deserve to be there… and so everything is about constant balance and voting so there is syntony, of course the conversations on IRC, are pure jokes, because the objective is to keep both Gov’s, but of course inside the rules I consider should be respected for example the government being formed from people only with Portuguese citizenship, it’s wrong to have people with citizenship from China leading in Portugal, that’s one of the things I think needs to stop, because BB never done nothing to prejudice Portugal, but I think that all Portuguese players think many things can be improved.
13- Who are your best friends in Suna?
GT: Its a hard question because I have a bunch of them, like my family Blackbird...out of the family I have the noob ★ Justokas5 , Yudansha , ★ leo01234 , the great Gurkha Warrior , ★ Kai Proctor , and many others.
14- Do you have any enemies?
GT: I must have many, some because they were ban by me, other's because they can't handle the truth. But its not worth mentioning names, I always say to the hater's "Dont Hate, appreciate"
